Over the years, there have been several massive mecha movie characters. But some of them are just more impressive than others in the power department and dish out some incredible whuppings to their opponents.
10 Astro Boy Faced The Peacekeeper
One of the most enduring franchises of all time features the titular character Astro Boy. Originally known as Mighty Atom, the manga with this character debuted in 1952. But most audiences are familiar with the anime that featured Astro Boy.
While the 2009 feature film divided critics and fans, it featured Astro Boy facing off against a massive, overwhelmingly powerful robot known as the Peacekeeper. It's a hell of a fight that fits in perfectly with Astro Boy's role as a hero.

The Pacific Rim franchise has been built on basic premise of gigantic mechs, aka jaegers, being operated by human pilots fighting massive kaiju from another dimension. The first Guillermo del Toro directed film dropped in 2013, and the story has been building ever since.
While there are several mechs in the franchise, the main jaeger in the first film is Gipsy Danger. It took down nine kaiju in it's career, five of them completely on its own. That is an impressive feat to say the least.
