We have won a lot of games with late goals so Bielsa has often got things right by not making subs or making subs that helped the team to win even if they didn't play a direct part in the goal. Don't also forget matches like when we beat Fulham en route to getting promoted when Bielsa took Bamford and Costa off at half time despite us leading and despite Bamford being the scorer and Costa supplying the assist. It is often more about the machine being broken and Bielsa trying to remedy that than Bielsa throwing a wildcard sub on who is allowed to operate outside of the machine. Also one would have to wonder how many times Bielsa has had the options on the bench to really change a game - like he did when Nketiah was here or when Jack Clarke first started appearing. I can see him using Summerville and Gelhardt a bit more often now they are gaining his trust.
There are certainly many cases in the Championship but not many since we joined the elite.
