KUWTK: Scott Disick Is Processing Kourtney's Engagement
Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Scott Disick is allegedly trying to win over Kourtney Kardashian's attention amid her recent engagement. Fans of the show often found it difficult to keep up with the former couple's relationship as they endured a rollercoaster together. The reality stars met one another in 2006 at Girls Gone Wild mogul Joe Francis' house. Their chemistry was almost immediate, but Kourtney often expressed concern regarding marrying Scott given their issues. Nonetheless, the duo still had three kids together, Mason, Penelope, and Reign, and do their best to co-parent peacefully to this day.
After deciding to end their relationship in 2015, Scott has seen his fair share of younger celebrities such as Sofia Richie and Amelia Gray Hamlin. Kourtney, on the other hand, has kept a relatively low profile only publicly dating Younes Bendjima for a little over a year, and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker. Since then, Scott has been down in the dumps, recently becoming single after Amelia broke up with him once his DM's to Younes dissing their mutual ex's constant PDA with Travis became public. Though Kourtney was embarrassed by the screenshotted messages on behalf of their children, she made it clear she didn't care what her ex thought of her new relationship. Just a few months later and Travis got down on one knee and asked Kourtney to marry him in front of Hulu's cameras for the family's highly anticipated reality show.
Now that Scott is beginning to realize his chances of winning Kourtney back are slim to none, he's apparently going on very public dates to try and get a rise out of her. Most recently, Scott was seen out with 23-year-old model Elizabeth Grace Lindley. "Scott has been trying to do his own thing and process Kourtney and Travis' engagement," a source tells Entertainment Tonight. "He's getting back to going out and hitting the party scene again. He's not dating anyone seriously yet at this point, and he is also trying to get under Kourtney's skin by being spotted out and about." The source added that Kris Jenner and the rest of the family still consider Scott as one of their own, and wouldn't exclude him from their celebrations. That said, Scott likely won't want to attend.
Earlier this month, the source admitted that Scott was not happy for Kourtney after her engagement, adding that he is "stewing" over the news. "He's lonely right now and not in a relationship and is very jealous that things are working out for Kourtney." The source added that Scott's ideal situation would be for him and Kourtney to continue co-parenting with one another without anyone else in their lives romantically. While Scott debates his next move, Kourtney is ignoring his negativity and enjoying life as a fiancé.
It's interesting to see how upset Scott is becoming over Kourtney's engagement because it's night and day from his previous behavior on the reality show. Nonetheless, he did give Kourtney his blessing for her relationship with Travis, but it now seems like he clearly didn't mean it. It'll be interesting to see if Scott expresses how he truly feels about the engagement on the new edition of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
