[Men's Soccer] Saints Drop Last Home Match 3-1 to Tigers

South Bend, Ind. The Holy Cross College men's soccer team returned to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference play this afternoon when they hosted Olivet Nazarene University. The game was played at the Indiana Invaders Soccer Complex. Martin Von Thun gave the Saints an early 1-0 lead with a goal scored in the 3rd minute. The goal would stand for the half, as Holy Cross would enter halftime up 1-0. Olivet Nazarene was able to score three unanswered goals in the second half to hand the Saints a 3-1 defeat. With the loss, Holy Cross moves to 8-6-2 and 5-5-2 in CCAC play, while ONU improves to 12-3-1 and 9-2-1.
