Where is Dan Walker going?
MUCH-loved presenter Dan Walker has made a lot of changes in his career over the last 12 months.
He no longer works for the BBC after quitting Breakfast AND Football Focus.
Where is Dan Walker going next?
On April 4, 2022, Dan revealed he had quit BBC Breakfast to join Channel 5.
His exact start date for his new job is yet to be revealed.
Dan will be hosting the revamped 5 News, as well as a number of other shows for the broadcaster.
He will be presenting alongside Claudia-Liza Vanderpuije and has taken over from Sian Williams.

Why is Dan Walker leaving Football Focus?
BBC Breakfast
In a video shared on Twitter, Dan said it was a “massive decision” to leave Breakfast, but moving to Channel 5 will bring “bigger opportunities.”
He said: “I have a little bit of news for you. In the next few weeks, I’m going to be leaving BBC Breakfast and moving to 5 News and to Channel 5.
“But Channel 5 came with big ambitions, with big plans and I don’t think opportunities like this come around very often and I can’t wait.
“I’ve also had the incredible privilege of working on some iconic programmes over the last few years, both at the BBC and elsewhere.
“And what I love about this deal is I not only get to present the news, but also host a whole range of new programmes right across the channel.”

Football Focus
In April 2021 Dan announced he would be leaving Football Focus.
At the time, he told fans: “This is going to be my last season presenting Football Focus.
“It has been an amazing 12 years and I can honestly say I have loved every single second of it.
“I am so proud of the job we’ve done, the changes we’ve made and issues we’ve looked at a time when the football landscape has changed immeasurably.
“But, having said all that, after 12 years it’s time for someone else to take the reins.”

His role on BBC’s flagship Saturday afternoon show was taken up by Alex Scott.
