Hockey fans were treated to an electric opening round of the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Five of the eight playoff series went to a Game 7 and the drama and the tensions were sky-high all round long.

With the field of 16 cut in half, it’s now time for the second round of the NHL playoffs. Way back before the start of the postseason, we shared our predictions as to how the opening round would play out. And good news! We were right on seven of the eight series, with the Minnesota Wild the only team to disappoint us at the start gate.
