Report: Tottenham one of three clubs to make ‘serious’ offer to sign centre-back
Tottenham have reportedly made an offer to sign Fenerbahce defender Kim Min-jae in the summer, according to Fanatik.
Kim, 25, has produced a steady flow of performances in his first season with Fenerbahce, helping the Turkish side into second in the table and into next season’s Champions League.
Fotospor reported ahead of the January transfer window that Tottenham were left impressed with the South Korean’s displays and were lining up a potential move to bring him to North London.
Spurs also sent scouts to watch Kim in action against rivals Galatasaray and were pleased with what they saw, causing Antonio Conte to urge the club to step up their pursuit (Fanatik).
And the same publication has now claimed that Spurs have submitted a bid for Kim which Fenerbahce describe as ‘serious’, with the defender having a release clause worth £19.5 million.
The report adds that the likes of Everton and Napoli have also placed respective offers on the table, with all three sides named as standout contenders to complete a deal this summer.
Kim joined Fenerbahce last summer from Chinese Super League side Beijing Guoan and has gone on to make 39 appearances for the club (Transfermarkt).

Spurs are likely going to be in the market for defensive reinforcements this summer and someone like Kim could be a very interesting option to look at.
He seems to have the attributes needed to adapt well to Premier League football and his presence could work well in a back three.
