The savvy hack involves a common kitchen product that you probably already have in your kitchen cupboards – parchment paper.

In the short clip, she explains: “Wanna straighten hair without the damage? Try parchment paper.”
“It protects your hair from getting heat damage.”

She can be seen grabbing a roll of parchment paper that can be purchased at supermarkets for as little as £1.
Maria then folds a sheet of the paper in half and places her hair inside, before running her heated straighteners down it.
