Man shot to death in Encino

Shots fired in an Encino neighborhood left a man dead on Saturday night, July 2.

The shooting was reported at about 11:40 p.m. on the 4500 block of Grimes Place, Los Angeles Police Officer Annie Hernandez said. The victim, with multiple wounds, was found lying on the ground near his vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

His identity was not immediately released; he was only described as a man in his late 30s, according to Hernandez. A description of any possible suspect was not available Sunday morning.
