West Ham United Yet To Convince Filip Kostic On London Stadium Switch
The Hammers want Kostic, who was hugely impressive for Eintracht Frankfurt in their run to win the Europa League last season, and have agreed a fee with the Bundesliga outfit.
It is suggested the offer is an initial £10m for the Serbian left-sided player, a fee the Germans are happy with.
However, despite suggestions from Germany that Kostic appears to be ready to move, West Ham have yet to convince him.
Kostic has not decided if he wants to leave Eintracht Frankfurt to make the move to the London Stadium.
Through winning the Europa League, Eintracht Frankfurt have qualified for next season’s Champions League.
West Ham are only in the Europa Conference League and it is unclear whether that may play a part in Kostic’s thinking over the move.
Kostic provided six assists for Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League last season and, at 29, this summer may be his last chance to earn a big pay packet from a move.
