Arsenal fans are all saying the same thing after Alexandre Lacazette scores 30-yard screamer for Lyon
ALEXANDRE LACAZETTE has wound up Arsenal fans by reminding them of his talent in front of goal.
The striker, 31, was released this summer after five years at The Emirates.
Mikel Arteta decided not to keep him on following a return of just one goal in his last 19 games – but it has not taken the Frenchman long to remind Arsenal what they’re missing out on at his new club Lyon.
In a friendly against Feyenoord on Sunday the striker picked up the ball around 30 yards from goal and took a couple of touches before firing the ball into the bottom corner.
Naturally, several Gooners were amazed by Lacazette’s effort, and it led some to question why he could not perform in the same way for Arsenal.
One fan wrote on Twitter: “So predictable he would leave and learn how to shoot again.”

Another added: “Don’t say it. Don’t say it. Don’t say it. Don’t say it… why couldn’t he do that for the Arsenal?”
And a third said: “Seriously what happened to Lacazette at Arsenal, [he] just completely lost his ability to shoot.”
Most Arsenal fans are not too bothered about Lacazette leaving as his replacement Gabriel Jesus has got off to a flying start.
The Brazilian has scored four goals in his first four games including a delightful chip against Chelsea on Sunday.

He has hit the ground running under Mikel Arteta and is beginning to show his best form – just as Arsenal chief Edu promised he would if he signed for the Gunners.
Jesus is confident he will take his positive form into the Premier League season and he expects to challenge for the Golden Boot alongside his Brazil team-mate Richarlison.
