I find it amusing that the "woke" medical community and the gay community are both dancing around the subject of how the majority of monkeypox is transmitted ("LGBT activists demand resources for monkeypox, don't want officials to stigmatize gay communities," Web, July 22). It is transmitted mainly through anal sex. That is why over 95% of the cases of monkeypox are among gay men.
