Artisan sees ‘excellent growth’ in diamond sales

Artisan, the jewellery manufacturer based in Hatton Garden, has “far exceeded” its growth targets amid a rise in diamond sales and growth in Artisan’s mount and semi-set mount business.

The diamond sales have been via Artisan’s live diamond feed from approved partners across the world, providing customers with access to thousands of certified natural and lab-grown diamonds.

Artisan said its most popular service is its 24-hour CAD service, where customers upload design requests via the website, and receive a quote and CAD design within 24 hours via email and WhatsApp.

The manufacturer added that this service has led to a “massive” volume of customer enquiries and has helped customers’ conversion rates from enquiries to closing the sale.

Pete Carmichael, Artisan retail development manager, said: “We are delighted at the incredible growth we have seen so far, as none of us underestimated how hard it would be to bring a new supplier into a well-serviced area of the industry.

“We are also excited to be exhibiting at the Jewellery Show UK at the Excel London 5th-6th September. The first show we did was the NAJ Summit which was a great success, and now to have another opportunity to exhibit this time in London is going to be amazing. We have so many plans and ideas on how we can help and support retailers throughout the UK.”
