I’m a busy mum and have three tricks to keep my home spotless all the time – people think I’m mad but I swear by them
KEEPING your home neat and tidy when you’ve got kids running around isn’t easy.
If you leave the mess to build it up it can become overwhelming in no time at all, luckily one savvy mum has the perfect cleaning routine that she swears by.
The cleaning whizz, who posted her three tricks on Instagram under @keepitsimplesparkles, says her home is never messy because of them.
The first thing the mum-of-two does is wash, dry and put away one load of laundry everyday.
It might seem like a small task, but she insists that it doesn’t take long to do and means that the dirty laundry pile never becomes too large.
The busy mum also swears by cleaning her kitchen everyday, “it’s not a deep clean every day, but every night to go to bed with clean dishes, clean counters and an empty sink,” she explained.

Not only that, but the cleaning fanatic spends 15-20 everyday cleaning a different part of her home, “this is where my kitchen mopping would come in,” she revealed.
The pro explained that all three tasks only take her an hour to do everyday and roughly two weeks to get through the entire house using her system.
It means that she doesn’t have to spend an entire day of her weekend getting on top of the chores that have built up over the week.
The cleaning pro said it’s perfect for keeping on top of things and doing them in bitesize, manageable chunks.

However not everyone was convinced that the tricks were all that practical, one said: “I work nine hours a day and have two small kids, a complete load of laundry and deep cleaning my kitchen everyday is so unrealistic.”
The cleaning whizz recommended just taking bits a pieces from her tricks that work for you.
Another person said: “I hate to say this but I did all that and missed memories with my kids. They don’t care if the house is clean… we do!”
