Sunny start and surf too
Hello Friends,
Head high with the odd plus among the consistent sets at Dee Why this morning. Wind was WSW 4-5 kts by 0730 (but due to swing around to the NE later). Swell at sea was 2.2 metres at 12-13 seconds from the SE and first tide of the daylight hours is the low at 1105. Weather was sunny to begin but the Bureau says there is a slight chance of a brief shower this morning as we head to a high of 19. Beachwatch rates most beaches between North Narrabeen and the Bower as “pollution possible” with water at 18C.
It should be fun through to mid-morning, but even then the wind call is for a lightish NEr this afternoon, so maybe textured and choppy at south ends.
Energy levels look like staying in the definitely surfable range through Friday before possibly tailing off into the marginal zone on the weekend as swell goes around to the easterly quarters and the average period fades toward 7-8 seconds.
