I’m a young mum and fed up of snotty older parents who judge me at the soft play – what they say make me furious
A YOUNG mum has slammed the “snobby” parents who make it so difficult for her to enjoy soft play with her children.
Paige Brookes took to TikTok to rage about the treatment she receives in such play centres, admitting that she couldn’t wait to get home before recording her rant.
“I’ve not even left the car park yet and I have a bone to pick, so here we are,” she began.
“It’s 2022 and every time I go to a soft play it’s filled with so many snobby women who will make the most passive aggressive remarks, and they’re so c****y just because you’re a young mum.
“Just because you had a f**king midlife crisis and popped your kids out at 36, don’t push your negativity onto me.”
She insisted she’s not the only young mum to have been mistreated like that, “because everybody I know who’s a young mum has this s**t and it’s everywhere you go”.

Paige went on to recall one instance where her one-year-old daughter was drinking a Capri-Sun at a soft play, and another mum couldn’t help but comment.
“Oh, do you really think you should be giving her that?” the woman said.
With Paige continuing: “I’m sorry, what? Bear in mind she’s making all of her kids drink f**king water and one of them was like 11.
“And I was just like, ‘Do you know what, babe, it’s a good job they’re not your kids isn’t it?’”

Concluding her video, Paige said: “Anyway, what I’m trying to say is mind your f**king business.
“Thanks for coming to my TED talk.”
People in the comments section were quick to relate to Paige’s remarks, with one writing: “Ugh you couldn’t say this any better, I’m 25 but I look younger and this happens to me every time!!!
“The looks and everything, just bore off!”
“It puts me off going,” another added.
