Huge £110,000,000 EuroMillions jackpot claimed by ticket holder
Someone has come forward to claim an eye-watering £110,978,200.90 EuroMillions jackpot prize.
The potentially life-changing announcement comes following the draw on September 2.
But the claim must be verified by Camelot before the money can be handed over.
If confirmed, the lucky ticket holder will become richer than singer and actor Harry Styles, who is estimated to be worth around £80 million.
They will also trump Daniel Radcliffe, who has made £95 million after starring in the Harry Potter films.
They would be able to buy two £55 million townhouses in London’s Mayfair – complete with steam-rooms and plunge pools, cinema rooms and fully-equipped chef’s kitchens.
Camelot’s Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, has named it ‘absolutely incredible news’.
‘We’re delighted that we’ve received a claim’, he said on Wednesday.
‘Our focus is now on supporting the ticket holder through the process and helping them start to enjoy their truly life-changing win.’
Only 15 UK players have ever won a jackpot of more than £100 million.
It follows the biggest National Lottery win of £195 million from the EuroMillions draw on 19 July.
Meanwhile, Gloucestershire couple, Joe and Jess Thwaite went public with their £184 million win on 10 May.
Another £109 million jackpot was scored on 4 February.
