Who is Daenerys Targaryen’s mother?
Daenerys’s mother is Queen Rhaella Targaryen.
Queen Rhaella married her older brother Aerys II on the order of their father, Jaehaerys.
Her parents were King Jaehaerys II Targaryen and Queen Shaera Targaryen, who were also siblings.
After giving birth to her first child, Prince Rhaegar Targaryen, Aerys II and Rhaella had trouble carrying on their legacy.
Rhaella had a number of stillbirths and the marriage was abusive and violent, especially towards the end.
It was also later revealed that she was the paternal grandmother of Jon Snow after it was found out his father was Rhaegar.

In 284 AC, she gave birth to Daenerys in the midst of a summer storm that threatened to destroy the island.
Sadly, Daenerys never met her mother because she shortly died after giving birth.

Khal Drogo is the father of Daenerys baby, Rhaego.
Drogo was a chieftain of a Dothraki khalasar and was often referred to as “The Great Khal.”
Their child was named in honour of his uncle, Prince Rhaegar Targaryen.
