Four men wanted in connection over assaults at Euros 2020 final in London
Images of four men wanted in connection to an assault have been released in an attempt to track them down.
Police want to trace three of the men for allegedly assaulting emergency workers at Wembley Stadium on July 11 2021 during the Euros final.
They are looking to trace a fourth man in connection with an assault on a member of the public in Trafalgar Square on the same day.
Violence and disorder marred England’s Euro 2020 final clash with Italy which led to 45 arrests.
The Met Police had officers on duty as thousands of spectators filtered out of Wembley.
People tried to break into Wembley Stadium and some threw bottles while in central London.
Beer bottles were reportedly thrown and police still looked to be on high alert as chants against Italy were heard.
The game saw England lose on penalties to Italy as riot police moved in to Leicester Square in the hours before the UEFA final.
Police asked anyone with information on the men pictured to contact them.
