Prof. Mukhi also said that in the continuous development of the country, the need for security, education, health, cooperation and self-reliance of the people living along the border areas cannot be ignored. Many a time they face challenges which are very serious in nature. Sometimes they are misled by the anti-social forces. Therefore, the people living along the border areas need special attention. He also said that government from time to time has been taking several schemes for their welfare.
