EVERY single one of us, at one time or another, wishes for longer, healthier hair.
Luckily one hairdresser has shared five tips to help you get that – and they cost absolutely nothing.
Rachel, known online as @rachelvalentinehair, regularly shares haircare tips with her 41,000 followers.
In a recent video, she shares five free ways to improve the health of your hair – and that includes cutting the amount of heat you use.
“Here is five things you can do for healthier hair that cost absolutely nothing.
“Firstly, make sure you’re shampooing your hair twice.

“Secondly, make sure you towel dry your hair before you apply your conditioner.
“Thirdly, never tie your hair up wet.
“Fourth, avoid hairbands like these. Instead, use something soft like a scrunchie or coiled hair bands.
“And number five is to avoid heat, but avoid it consciously. Like, make a real effort to cut out heat as much as you can.”

Rachel added: “Yes I much prefer them to normal bands !”
She’s not the only one sharing hair care tips online – Ooife shared her recommendations on how to speed up your hair’s growing time, and the products she thinks have helped.
“I’ve always had pretty decent genetics, and I started using all these products at the same time. I don’t know which one’s making it go super speed, but one of them is.
