Well, they have no legs left to stand on after what might be arguably the worst first half the organization has ever produced. Keep in mind the Indianapolis Colts were 4-8-1 and losers of three in a row going into their Saturday matchup with the Vikings. It was in Minnesota. Everything pointed to them being the heavy favorites. Thirty minutes later, the home crowd sat stunned as their team had fallen behind 33-0. If they aren’t careful, there is a strong possibility they might be fighting for the division title with Detroit surging. If both teams go into the final week 10-6, then a win could decide who hosts a playoff game. Not only that, but they’ll also be fighting for playoff seeding even if that isn’t the case. The fact they’ll have to get that win in what will likely be a wind-swept, frigid Soldier Field is fun to contemplate.
