Engine fire causes evacuation of 900 from Staten Island Ferry
NEW YORK CITY: Authorities have said that some 900 passengers and crew members were evacuated from a ferry bound for Staten Island from Manhattan, after the ship's engine room caught fire.
During a news conference, the New York Fire Department said that five people were injured, with three being hospitalized with minor injuries.
The NYC Department of Transportation said that the ferry, named the Sandy Gro
