The Kanpur Development Authority (KDA) and the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) jointly prepared a pilot project for the implementation of Transferable Development Rights (TDR) policies through block chain technology in all development authorities of Uttar Pradesh. The project deadline is March 31, 2019. The KDA Vice Chairman, Arvind Singh, reviewed the project during a meeting on Thursday under the directions of the KDA VC, Kanpur Development Authority. The KDA and IIT Kanpur are jointly preparing a pilot project for the implementation of TDR policies through block chain technology in all development authorities of Uttar Pradesh. During the presentation, the KDA VC fixed March 31 as the deadline for execution of block chain technology on which Professor Mishra assured that the IIT would conduct testing of the TDR portal in Kanpur from the first week of March and it would be implemented from the last week of March as a pilot project. He also proposed user login dashboard online and offline verification process of the TDR portal.
