It was around 145am when there was a dense layer of fog in the area. The four police said were from the same family in Uttar Pradesh's Firozabad and stayed on rent in Noida Sector 49. They worked at a restaurant in Chivand. It seems that the truck driver did not slow down near the underconstruction underpass like other vehicles despite a bottleneck and hit the bike from behind. There was reduced visibility due to fog as well. According to Additional DCP Noida, Ashutosh Dwivedi, during interrogation the accused told us that due to fog the truck first rammed into a roadside barrier and then the bike.
