German inflation expected to reach 7% in 2023, says Finance Minister
BERLIN, Germany: Inflation in Germany is expected to drop to 7 percent this year and continue falling in 2024 and beyond, finance minister Christian Lindner said.
"The target remains 2 percent. This must be a top priority for the European Central Bank and the German government," Lindner said in an interview with Bild newspaper published this week.
