Towie favourite reveals surprise friendship with huge Netflix star and Emily in Paris actor
TOWIE fan-favourite Vas J Morgan is known for his wide circle of reality and pop star pals – and now a Netflix hunk can be added to his friend list.
It has been revealed that Vas, 34, is actually close mates with Emily In Paris heartthrob, Lucien Laviscount.
According to Vas, who appeared on the ITV2 show between 2014 and 2018, their friendship has been going strong for more than 15 years.
Posting a picture of Lucien, 30, sat on a bench while dressed in a tailored suit, Vas wrote: “Very proud of one of my lifelong friends Lucien Laviscount who has brought the cheeky, charming Brit Alfie to life in the Netflix hit show Emily In Paris!”
The Talent and PR agent added: “Lucien has worked his ass off since the day we met over 15 years ago. Non stop grafting so it’s so amazing to see the world appreciating and seeing his talents!”
The Lancashire born actor, who has appeared in Waterloo Road, shot to global stardom when he landed the role of Alfie in Emily In Paris.
Lucien plays a lothario and love interest of the main character Emily. Played by Lily Collins, Emily leaves Chicago to embark on a job in a marketing firm in Paris and documents her many culture challenges.
The actor first appeared in series two and then again in series three.
But it looks as though the bright lights of fame have not gone to Lucien’s head as it wasn’t that long ago he was pictured with Vas on a night out.
Lucien was out and about to celebrate Vas’s birthday in December last year at The Windmill in Soho.
