A FEMALE recruit in the U.S. Army is taking TikTok by storm.
Karlis Mendoza could be a military star in the making judging by the number of likes her platform has racked up.
Her latest video has attracted over 67,000 likes and nearly a thousand comments.
In one of her videos, one of her army buddies asked her and a group of fellow young female soldiers: “Why did you join the army?”
“Discounts at Home Depot,” was the funny response from one of the young recruits.
But when it came to Karlis, her answer was cool and whip-smart.
Clad in army camo fatigues, Karlis is lying on the grass in the sunshine.
“So Mendoza, why did you join the Army?”
Her answer might surprise some, but it has certainly fired up her platform.
Karlis’ response was: “For the uniform.”
TikTok followers could not get enough of cool Karlis and comments came in as quickly as they could be read.
“Oh, but what is Mendoza like??” said one.
Another was smitten: “Yoooo, Mendoza can ruin my life and credit score!!!”
There were several treaties of love: “Mendoza is stunning.”
And: “Tell Mendoza I love her please.”
Even more endearments: “Mendoza, what’s up, she’s so pretty, very beautiful.”
Karlis might even spark a recruitment surge judging by at least one comment: “I need to join the army.”
Finally, some gravitas and gratitude to Karlis and her Army colleagues: “Thank you beautiful women for your service.”
