Prince Harry claimed that one of the members of King Charles‘ press team was leaking negative stories about his children to improve the perception of himself and his wife Camilla, Queen Consort in 2019.
He said that his brother called and declared “they’ve done this to me for the last time,” according to Us Weekly.
Prince William decided to speak to the king about it, and Prince Harry allegedly went along as “moral support.”
“Pa instantly got upset. He began shouting that Willy was paranoid. We both were,” he wrote of the confrontation. “Just because we were getting bad press, and he was getting good, that didn’t mean his staff was behind it.”
Although the brothers presented a unified front against King Charles, Prince Harry claimed that Prince William turned around and “shifted all his rage onto me” after the conversation.
Spare arrives in full on January 10. Here’s how you can buy it.
