The Vice Chancellor of a university, Professor Vinay Kumar Pathak, has returned to work after a two-and-a-half-month absence. The media cell of the university stated that Professor Pathak was on medical leave and rejoined on Monday. Professor Pathak has been accused of bribery, corruption, and extorting money. The CBI after registering a case is investigating the charges against him. The UP STF is investigating graft charges against him. The case was transferred to the CBI after the state government demanded a CBI probe. On the first day of his office, after rejoining, Professor Pathak met teachers and employees of the university. He held a meeting with them regarding the convocation ceremony scheduled to be held next month. He also spoke to the teachers about the National Assessment and Accreditation Council grading of the university. He instructed the teachers and staff members to prepare well for the Naac test. The meeting was attended by Professor Pathak's pro vice chancellor, Professor Sudhir Kumar Awasthi, Registrar Anil Kumar Yadav, Dean of Administration, Professor Suhanshu Pandiya, Professor R.K.
