The former chief minister of India, D.V. Sadananda Gowda, said on Monday that the need of the hour is to stop migration of villagers to cities through sustainable developmental activities and initiatives. He said that those who depend upon agriculture are facing a lot of challenges, so people are migrating to the cities. He said that there is an urgent need to conserve the livelihoods in rural areas and the culture which made our life rich.
