YouTube star Lydia Millen shows off huge countryside garden – but fans all have the same complaint
INFLUENCER Lydia Millen has revealed her stunning manicured garden – yet fans all had the same complaint.
TikTok and YouTube star Lydia posted a video to her page entitled “A Peek Into My World.”
The fashion range designer was seen heading out into her stunning back garden surroundings as she announced: “January in the kitchen garden.”
She told fans it was “bitterly cold” as she crunched down her gravel path holding a wooden basket.
She told fans that after “overly enthusiastically” sewing carrot seeds last year, she still had a “considerable amount of crop.”
Lydia was seen prodding at the veg with a trowel before pulling out four carrots to place in her basket to go with a roast dinner.
Fans were quick to comment on how she used a chunky piece of equipment for the minimal gardening, with one writing: “Not you using a wheelbarrow for four carrots.”
A fan quickly replied: “LOL” while another agreed with the banter and put: “Pahaha.”
One then flagged her fashion credentials as they joked: “I thought you would use a Hermes bag to carry the carrots – Lydia you can do better than this!”
Last year, Lydia also received backlash for saying she had checked into a £1,000 a night hotel because her heating had broken in the midst of the cost-of-living crisis.
She posted a video to TikTok where she revealed she was going to go and stay at The Savoy hotel in London because her heating was “broken”
“The heating is currently broken in my house, so I’m heading down to London and am going to check into The Savoy and make full use of their wonderful hot water,” she said in the video, which has been viewed over 980,000 times.
TikTok users were quick to fire back on the Savoy remark, as basic rooms at the luxurious hotel can go for around £1,000 per night.
One person commented: “And here’s me, the heating’s off BECAUSE I CAN’T AFFORD TO PUT IT ON.”
Lydia responded to the comment saying: “My heart breaks too, it’s honestly heartbreaking. I just hope you know other people’s realities can be different and that’s not wrong x.”
The influencer began her career in 2012 using Instagram and YouTube to share her favourite outfits, fashion hacks and seasonal trends.
She also posts clothing hauls, try-on videos and often brings her followers along for a shopping spree.
Lydia has now established herself within the fashion industry and worked with many global brands.
