A priest in Rajkot, India shot himself in the head and took his own life with his licensed revolver on Tuesday morning. The police registered a case of accidental death and sent the body for postmortem. It is believed that the priest, Rajbharti Bapu, was upset after an audio clip went viral showing him allegedly talking indecently with a woman. A picture of him with the woman too had gone viral. The police said they have sent an FSL team to investigate the incident and came to know that the man was upset over some social media post. However, they did not find any suicide note but will register an offence if they find any substantial evidence of abetment of suicide.
