UFC Fight Night 219 video: Philipe Lins blitzes through Ovince Saint Preux in 49 seconds
It took Philipe Lins less than a minute to finish Ovince Saint Preux with strikes Saturday at UFC Fight Night 219.
The light heavyweight bout was part of the event’s prelims at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and consisted almost exclusively of Lins (16-5 MMA, 2-2 UFC) chasing Saint Preux (26-17 MMA, 14-12 UFC) down. Lins poured it on until referee Mark Smith stepped in just 49 seconds into Round 1 after a left hook dropped “OSP.”

Lins, 37, was the 2018 PFL heavyweight champion but has found his most success in the UFC at light heavyweight. The win Saturday extends his streak to two, also including a unanimous decision victory over Marcin Prachnio in April.
Saint Preux, 39, is one of the longest-tenured fighters on the UFC roster, as he nears his decade-mark with the promotion. He’s struggled in recent outings, however, 1-3 in his most recent four.
