Bradley Walsh leaves The Chase contestant mortified as he brazenly asks ‘have you been drinking?’
BRADLEY Walsh left a contestant stunned as he ruthlessly asked if he had been drinking on the ITV gameshow.
The Chase returned to screens with contestants, Nathan, Michelle, Tony and Rachael, who were up against Shaun “The Dark Destroyer” Wallace.
In Thursday’s episode, Bradley Walsh, 62 who is known for his hilarious interactions with the competitors, took a playful dig at one of the player’s.
On the first round of the cash builder, Nathan was up and he successfully won the team £5,000.
“Shaun, you mentioned his book and I have actually read it and it is quite inspirational,” Nathan said when asked who he would like to face.
“I would like to meet him. I have read it, I have actually read it.”
Bradley looked baffled before jokingly asking: “Have you had any drinks? Did you say it’s motivational?”
Nathan firmly responded: “Yes I have, have you read it?”
Bradley then hit back: “Why would I read his book? He doesn’t even mention The Chase!”
Bradley added, “Proper chasers.” After asking the other contestants who they would like to face, none of them wanted Shaun.
“People that have written stuff that means something.”
Bradley teased: “Oh oh, look out it’s that well-known author, the one and only Shaun Wallace,” before hiding behind Nathan.
After their fun, they started the game, with Shaun making Nathan two offers: a low one of £1,000 and a big one of £25,000.
In the end Nathan made the decision to keep the £5,000 that he won in the cash builder and he managed to breeze through the round to return for the Final Chase.
