The tenth package of sanctions against the Russian Federation may be blocked by Poland. This is reported by the Polish radio station RMF.

According to the information received, it became known that Poland could block the 10th package of sanctions against Russia. The reason for the possible blocking, the Polish authorities call very weak in relation to other packages of sanctions.

“Poland is ready to block the tenth package of European sanctions on the anniversary of the start of the war. Thus, it wants to achieve their strengthening. The final decision will be made today by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki,” the radio station reports the words of the Polish diplomat.

The publication reports that the position of the Polish authorities irritated the European Union. The capital of Poland has already received calls from several European capitals. At the same time, the Polish authorities blame Germany and Italy for weak sanctions. In their opinion, these countries are “blurring restrictions”. It is noted that negotiations on this issue will be held in Brussels, which are called the last chance.
