[Men's Volleyball] Records Fall as No. 13 SXU Upsets No. 11 Jamestown

CHICAGO – Junior setter Jason Klein (Oak Park, Ill./Oak Park-River Forest) handed out a program record 63 assists and freshman outside hitter Jan Lopuch (Krakow, Poland/I Liceum Ogolnoksztalcace Sportowe) posted an SXU record 27 kills to help guide No. 13 Saint Xavier University men's volleyball (12-3/7-0 CCAC) to a thrilling 3-2 (27-25, 25-20, 24-26, 24-26, 20-18) victory over No. 11 University of Jamestown (N.D.) in match two of the Viterbo University (Wis.) Tri-Match Saturday afternoon in La Crosse, Wis. In their first match, the Cougars defeated host Viterbo in three sets (25-22, 25-20, 25-18) in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) action. Junior outside hitter Vejas Cuplinskas (Riverside, Ill./Riverside Brookfield) tied his career-high with 17 kills in the three-set victory.
