DEAR DEIDRE: A WOMAN who was giving me all the signs she liked me has, it turns out, been just stringing me along.
We’ve been flirting, teasing and laughing together for months. I’m 29 and she’s 27.
She’d just come out of a two-year relationship and said she wasn’t ready for another one and didn’t really have time anyway.
It seemed that when she got close to me, she suddenly pulled back.
But unexpectedly she spoke to my mum – they know one another through work – and said she can’t give me what I want even though I haven’t openly said I want a relationship with her.
She then really stuck the knife in by saying she’s seeing someone else.
