I had the privilege of observing the interviews for the next Toledo police chief this past week. I offer my public thanks to Mayor Kapszukiewicz and his administration for engaging community stakeholders in this process. It is clear he recognizes this to be the most important hiring decision in his tenure in office. The safety and prosperity of our community depend on it.
