A FITNESS fanatic has proven that the number on the scale is not a measure of good health.
The gym-goer revealed that she weighs 176 pounds, which places her BMI near the “obese” range.
The fit beauty claimed that her body stats coupled with her capabilities in the gym are proof that weight does not necessarily measure health.
Natalia (@quadzillas) took to TikTok to clap back at a TikTok of a man rejecting overweight women.
In the video, a man was asked in the gym if he would date a woman who was overweight, to which he answered: “I don’t think so to be honest.”
Natalia stitched the video with her passionate response.
“For the hundredth time, if you did a turn around you, most of the girls that are lifting heavy are considered overweight,” she said.
Natalia revealed that she weighs 176 pounds and wears a size 10 in jeans.
“For example, I weigh almost 180 pounds,” she added.
She revealed that she works out seven days a week.
“Weight and and being overweight is not necessarily synonymous to health,” she concluded.
The fitness junkie shared some choice words for gym influencers who emphasize the number on the scale.
“Weight does show you fitness level and health,” she added in the caption. “Stop spreading this crap.”
The video struck a chord with viewers who expressed their thoughts in the comment section.
“You could have 10 women the same weight and height and they’re all going to look different,” one wrote.
