One big item to start with is the upcoming “Know Your Rights” webinar that will be hosted on March 22nd. “At the Biking Lawyer LLP our mission is to educate cyclists about their rights and raise awareness about what to do if you’ve been in a collision. We encourage prevention and safe cycling but want people to be empowered should the unfortunate occur. In our KYR webinar, we highlight critical steps to take post-collision and answer cycling law and rules of the road questions from participants. Knowledge is power.” says Biking Lawyer David Shellnutt. The webinar aims to educate cyclists about their rights, empower the cycling community, and raise awareness of cyclists’ legal entitlements.
A second item Ontario Cycling and the Biking Lawyer LLP have worked on are the brand new Ontario Cycling Crash Cards for all cyclists. These cards will offer guidance after an accident occurs. These cards will be available at Ontario Cups and the office.
