Love Island’s Olivia reveals secret closeness to boy that was never shown on TV
LOVE Island star Olivia Hawkins has admitted she grew close to one of the male islanders in the villa – but their scenes never aired on TV.
Olivia, who lost her place in the show on Friday, has revealed she had a ‘connection’ with Shaq Muhammad in South Africa.
But after jetting home to the UK, the 27-year-old actress and ring girl was stunned to learn that her loved ones had no idea.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun about ‘special connections’ she had, Olivia said: “Me and Shaq had a really good friendship.
“I think he mentioned that as we left and quite a lot of my family and friends were shocked because I don’t think it was shown.”
When asked if she had grown close to anyone else in the villa, Olivia added: “Also Will.“
Olivia left the villa last week alongside Maxwell Samuda, 23, in an ‘exclusive couple’.
They had the power to dump another couple, picking co-star Claudia Fogarty and her partner Keanan Brand.
Danielle had previously grown close to both Kai Fagan and Tom Clare but was saddened when they set their sights on other girls.
Olivia’s friendship with Kai remained particularly strained since Casa Amor.
However, as she exited the South African villa, she insisted: “I hope we go back to being friends when we get out. I don’t want any animosity between us.
“I have a big heart and I just wish him all the best.”
Meanwhile, Olivia has also told The Sun how she is plotting a huge career move now she is back in the UK.
The star is turning her back on reality TV and has her sights set on some big acting roles.
