Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation has granted permission to a local organisation to install the idol of Kamanna at Idgah Maidan from March 9 to 11. After much dilly-dallying, decks have been cleared and permission has been given to an organisation to install Ganesh idol during the Ganesh festival, as well as to celebrate Tipu Jayanti at Idgah Maidan.
