Waning Crescent Moon and Cirrus Clouds
Photographer: Teresa Molinaro Summary Author: Teresa Molinaro Observing and photographing the Moon during the day is very satisfying to me. Here our sole satellite (waning crescent phase) is amidst cirrus clouds, seemingly the source of their white filaments, which are in continuous motion like a jellyfish floating on the tide. Photo taken from Bagheria, Italy at the noon hour on September 18, 2022. Photo details: Nikon D7500 camera; f/14; 1/320 second exposure; ISO 200; 70-300 mm NIKKOR lens.
