A protest erupted in Baba Jaswant Singh Dental College here on Thursday a few hours after an armed miscreant entered the girls' hostel in the institute premises and allegedly put a knife to a student's throat. The miscreant ran away from the spot after security gaurds and other students rushed to the spot hearing the cries of the girl.
