At least 1,321 tuberculosis (TB) patients in Mizoram are undergoing treatment, of which 989 people have given their consent to be get nutritional support through the scheme, Nikshay Mitra Programme. The initiative encourages adoption of TB patients and looking after their nutritional needs.
