Ypsilanti, Mich. – The Friends University Competitive Cheer Falcons captured their second straight KCAC championship on Feb. 17, and with that comes their second consecutive berth into the NAIA National Championship competition this weekend (Mar. 10-11) in Ypsilanti, Mich.
In the conference championship victory, the Falcons dominated from the beginning, recording a total of 83.45 in the preliminary round to carry a lead into the final round, where they bested that score with a whopping 85.30 points to clinch the title.
The Falcons' NAIA preliminary round is scheduled for Friday (Mar. 10) at 5:30 pm CST, with the final round of competition set to begin Saturday (Mar. 11) at noon based on the previous night's prelim scores.
