I did a Skims haul – I ordered two tops and they were so see through it was ‘laughable’
A FASHION influencer tried on two tops from Kim Kardashian’s Skims, but there was a major issue.
The young woman showed her followers how the quality of the items is “laughable.”
TikTok user Lauren Peters (@_lilpeet) explained that she’s been “on a Skims kick” and wanted to reorder her favorite top.
“My gray Skims top that I always wear and I always get questions about what it is, it’s the Fits Everybody crop and they came out with two new shades,” Lauren told her followers in the video.
She purchased the $21 Fits Everybody super cropped T-shirt in the color Cielo, as well as a navy shade.
“Oh my God, this is cropped cropped. Well, this is not the same top. I don’t understand, pretty sure I ordered the same exact kind as my other one,” the TikToker said.
The content creator continued: “This one has a waistband to it that I don’t enjoy.”
Lauren modeled both shades of the top and pointed out an obvious problem with them.
“Skims, stop making everything see through. This is laughable,” the fashion fan said.
She added: “Does Kimberly just want to show her teeters off to every freaking person? Oh my God, I feel like you can even see the shade of my boobs.”
Covering her hands with her chest while showing viewers the lavender version, Lauren said: “This is the most beautiful color ever but this is not at all what I thought I ordered so I will be returning.”
However, after examining her appearance further, Lauren concluded: “Actually, I take that back. I love this color. If I can find a bra that works with this, I may keep this because I love the color.”
TikTok users took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the looks.
“Return!! I can’t even see a bra working with that last one,” wrote one viewer.
Another follower said: “Return! Not worth it. She will come out with that color in other iterations!!”
“They look like toddler shirts,” joked a third person.
