You encouraged me to talk to my friends and family, rather than bottling things up, and recommended I see my doctor, because you correctly identified that I was depressed.
I took your excellent advice and started having counselling, which my GP recommended.
I threw myself into work, getting fit and spending quality time with good friends.
Slowly, things have improved.
I still miss my ex sometimes and occasionally feel lonely, but I now know the relationship wasn’t right as the trust was missing.
