ED had sought 10 days' custodial interrogation of Sisodia. The counsel for the agency told the court that the ED wanted to confront him with some people including an officer who had recorded his statement against Sisodia. The ED alleged that all the changes to the excise policy were made to enable the "South Group" and to "ensure that certain private entities get huge benefits".
